The eyelash extension & permanent makeup trade has been unregulated in many ways to date. The fact is that the lashes are technically not actually applied to your skin, (if done properly, they are adhered to your lashes themselves a millimeter away from your skin and never in direct contact).
However, since estheticians deal directly with the skin, it's a slight technicality, and for this reason, many businesses have taken the stance over the years that an esthetician’s license is not required to perform the eyelash extension service - thus, it is important to bring attention to the fact that some of our competitors actively behave recklessly and employ unlicensed technicians who are not legally qualified.
One of the key motivations of On The Boulevard ownership is to change that for the better. We are quite proud of the fact that we have a fully licensed esthetician on staff. This is quite important from a business liability standpoint and allows us to be fully insured for all the services we provide. This is to insure your safety! When anyone is working around your face, we strongly feel that it is absolutely essential that they know how to keep you safe. We are determined to hold ourselves to a higher standard than our competition.
Our mission is to deliver the freshest trends and ideas to our beautiful customers by constantly educating ourselves about industry best practices.

After working in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice for years, I decided to completely shift gears, and bring out my feminine side... but still keep that edge! The eyelash extension & permanent makeup field became an absolute passion of mine, and it has evolved into an amazing life path for me. I was certified in 2010, launched On The Boulevard in 2014, and it has been an adventure ever since!
I love dogs, the movies "City of Angels", "Pulp Fiction", and "Crash", all types of music, (eating at The Olive Garden), but most of all...all of my customers. I treat them with the utmost care because they deserve the best.
